Visit the Museum of Health Care

Museums & Attractions

Housed in the Ann Baillie Building, National Historic Site, the Museum is home to Canada’s largest collection of artifacts related to the history of healthcare. Visitors can explore exhibits that feature fascinating (and sometimes strange!) artifacts and stories that highlight the history of vaccines, nursing, X-rays, questionable cures and so much more!

Guided tours that are appropriate for all ages are available for all at any time! An interactive children’s gallery, craft station and scavenger hunt are available for the young—or young at heart. Just for the summer, you can also check out our popular outdoor walking tour, “Sick City”!

Situated on the grounds of Canada’s oldest public hospital, just steps from Kingston’s beautiful waterfront, we invite you to experience wonder and discovery at the Museum of Health Care.
