Michael K Myers and David Vowles Live at the RCHA

David Vowles says” The type of music you choose will set the mood and help make the occasion an exceptional event! From elegant jazz at your black tie affair to quiet background music at your corporate event or rock and roll at your anniversary party; your music choices will make a difference. Here are some ideas for music at different types of events” OH and special guest Michael K. Myers will be here as well! Burt Bacharach, Lennon and McCartney, Rodgers and Hart. These are a few of the songwriters who are musical and artistic inspirations to Michael K. Myers. Michael has been a professional singer, musician, performer, and songwriter for over 50 years. His experience covers rock' n' roll, country, jazz, pop, Celtic dance and pub music, and music theatre. As the accompanist/composer for Theatre 5, a touring music theatre company, he wrote the scores and lyrics to numerous musical productions in the 1970s, and 80s. As a songwriter and performer Michael has a number of recordings to his credit. He is also currently the vocalist for the popular 10pc group of world class musicians, The Big Phat Horn Band, as well as one half of the eclectic and entertaining duo The River Cats, that performs on the Island Queen cruise boat every summer for thousands of visitors to Kingston and the Islands. As the bass player/vocalist in the trio Hat Trick, he pays tribute to his roots in the great pop and rock music of the 1960s. And if that ain't enough, he's a member of The Limestone Rock'n'Roll Revue, performing music from the 'pioneers of rock'n'roll'. You'll hear Michael K. singing jazz and pop standards and a selection of his own songs in and around Kingston. Watch for his new project  The Bobby Show, a musical revue featuring the songs and stories of the great 'Bobby' singers of the late 50's and early 60's. Come down to the Club for a great night of jazz-influenced music. $5 cover for non-members.
